Maple Pavilion using Canadian wood was built by the support of the Canadian federal government. There are several restaurants and shops that offer local specialties, items and souvenirs. You can also find some goods sold to support the revival of the local community after the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. There is an area where you can view panels and screen images which tell you what happened before and after the disaster.

It is located next to the “Yuriage” Port Morning Market, but unlike the market, this pavilion is open on weekdays too. It is closed on Thursday.
